Yeah, this one was great. What John Edwards did was low, it's one thing having an affair but it's another to have one when your could be dying of cancer and what the Blago did was ridiclous.

If we don't find someway to solve the campaign finance problem in our politics then our government has degenerate into hopeless dysfunction and even looks something like an aristocracy when it has already pretty much degenerated into a Plutocracy.

It looks like Caroline Kennedy is going to replace Hillary Clinton in the Senate simply becauase her last name will make it easier for her to raise the 70 million dollars required to hold onto the seat in the 2010 election sheesh!!!

Not that have anything against Caroline Kennedy, it's just what that says about our system is turning into. She has never held elected office and she'll probably be appointed a senator because of her families wealth and her valuable last name and because she is the daughter of a still beloved U.S. President.

Anyway, more random thoughts on our Effed-up system. Obama has already compared himself to Lincoln which has been called bad form, but truthfully he is going to have be that good of a president to get us out of this mess.
