What a revolting development

What a revolting development we have going here. This was an awesome one, Mark. Loved it. You said it so well.

you don't understand. with

you don't understand. with our economy? of course they're not going to bring them home. where would we put them? how else can we justify the 4.5 billion dollar/year budget to the 'military war machine.' excuse me...to our action heroes.

Too bad that there are

Too bad that there are valuble minerals in Afganistan that the USA needs. Those pesky minerals will keep us from using our really big bombs to create the Gulf of Afganistan. I mean who needs a country that sounds like some guy named Stan wearing something his Nana Knited.
Only kidding, I've felt bad for the people of Afgan Stan since the days when the USSR was there tring to build a nation.

Wow. I came here from

Wow. I came here from Reddit. This is the most brilliant stuff I've scene in a while.

just bring our guys home.

just bring our guys home. unless we're eager to reenact the fall of the roman empire.

I don't mean to be

I don't mean to be apathetic, but, I don't understand what any of these wars are about anymore. I don't know who the enemy is. I sign petitions, I vote, I participate, but, I don't understand what the wars are about. Can anyone put it in laymans terms so I can understand?

The U.S. is an imperial,

The U.S. is an imperial, hegemonic empire controlled by the Federal Reserve and it's monopolized cartel of offshore banks. The top 2% who run these banks and the clients they serve like perpetual war because it makes them lots of money while we in the lower classes (quickly being merged into one surveilled, mind-controlled peasant class) slave away to buy gadgets and other widgets to keep the consumption economy afloat and provide us with the illusion of freedom. The left-right paradigm keeps us from uniting and ousting these parasites as we in America yell back and forth at each other; meanwhile, the elite plot how they are going to kill 80% of us through our poisoned food and water supply when robotics become advanced enough to fight the wars and do the laundry for them.

Got it?

So, we don't want to be

So, we don't want to be sheep, but, we end up being sheep anyway? What can we do about this?

1. We try to control the

1. We try to control the world under the guise of "democracy."
2. It makes lots of money for the large corporations.

How long does the U.S. have

How long does the U.S. have to kill, maim, and displace these people before they learn to love the empire? They sure are slow learners.

Frienemies and full-service

Frienemies and full-service war is here! (Actually, it's, um, been here for quite a while.)

What would you do to end this war?

Bring 'em home. Our

Bring 'em home. Our response to the 3000+ deaths in the 9/11 attack has killed hundreds of thousands in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Focusing our attention on the Taliban and Al Qaeda has just made them stronger.

Remember what Bin Laden's original anger was about? Westerners in Mecca (Saudi Arabia). Fine, let's leave Mecca. How much worse would that be for us than 10-year wars in three countries?

Bring 'em home and lets just take care of ourselves here for a while instead of trying to fix the rest of the world with out military.
