Many Americans have been brainwashed by our media to believe that Israel has every right to exist (at the expense of Palestinian Arabs) and fight the “naturally violent” Arabs. The Arabs had their land stolen from them and they have been herded into 59 refugee camps. Here are some additional resources for information:
1. Challenging Christian Zionism online
2. Americans United for Palestinian Human Rights
3. End the Occupation (of the West Bank and Gaza which is now the world’s largest open air prison camp
4. Human Rights Watch

6. Churches for Mideast Peace - The writer states, “An increasing number of institutions are so speaking. When the United Methodist Church, the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Episcopal Church, the United Church of Christ, the American Friends, Mennonites, the Church of the Brethren and the Roman Catholic Church (in the statement of the US Catholic Conference of Bishops) make roughly the same recommendations—support for the security of the state of Israel, Palestinian self-determination that could lead to sovereignty or an independent entity, the establishment of political and human rights and the cessation of terrorism and violence—it is likely that they are on the right track. This unusual convergence of denominational judgments on a major and pressing issue has happened previously twice in my lifetime—in the struggle for civil rights and in the call to bring our forces back from Vietnam. In both instances the churches were in the vanguard of public opinion; in both cases the nation and government followed.”
That land never belonged to the arabs. In fact They are Jordanians syrians egyptians etc who migrated to start trouble and live off the Israeli welfare system. And if they break the law they end up in country club prisons.
Just as the American-Indians suffered terribly under European-American settlement so now the Palestinians suffer and unfortunately some turn to violence (which I do not condone) just as American-Indians once did. Peace and justice must be offered to the oppressed and support financially to the oppressor should be stopped just as the world did with South Africa to end Apartheid. The Palestinians are Semitic brothers to the Jews and Americans should stand up bravely against those who would falsely call them anti-Semitic because they desire justice and peace in Palestine. Many Jewish groups also support the Palestinians including:
•Jews for Justice for Palestinians online
•NKUSA Neturei Karta is an international organization of Orthodox Jews dedicated to the propagation and clarification of Torah Judaism.
Outstanding film and thanks for having the guts to standing up to the American Evangelical hordes that hates Arabs and supports Israel's brutal colonization of the West Bank at all costs! There are probably more anti-Zionists in Israel who support Palestinian rights than there are in the brainwashed USA, Canada, and UK! Wake up people, we did this same thing to the American Indians! Peace will only come to the Arab world when we push for Justice in the Middle East and stop supporting Israel's persecution and elimination of the Palestinian people.
This tragedy happening in the Middle East contributes to unnecessary anger towards Americans since we are not seen as living up to our creed of liberty and justice for all. This conflict threatens to engulf the entire world into future wars and it fuels the flame of hatred against our nation. I recommend the following resources for more information:

Make as much fun as you want!!!!
When an American woman puts her children on an airplane to see her ex-husband, she doesn't worry about "Zionists" with exploding underwear.
"Zionists" are not blowing themselves up on buses and trains all over Europe.
In a few months, the American Army will leave Iraq and the good people of Iraq will get to enjoy each others company without any "imperialst interference.
You will then see how peaceful it will be.
In the meantime, feel free to say that if Israel has nuclear weapons, it's only fair that Osama Bin Laden should have them too.
Israel stole the palestinian homeland and occupies and expand it even to this day. They do not deserve peace or happiness until they have stepped back to the 1967 border and removed the wall.
"There can never be peace with radicalized Islam. It is against what they think god commands them to do."
More like there can never be peace while religious zealots think that God, being on their side, gives them permission to blow the crap out of anyone they don't like without guilt. All zealots be they Zionist, Christian, Muslim whatever are as bad as each other.
Yes zealots/radicals and extreme fundamentalists of all religions. I think they are all manic, schizophrenic and bipolar. I will never ever respect them when they circumcise little girls ...especially when they tie them and torture them while away. Bad enough they destroy them for life let alone torture. The females need to be liberated as well as the younger generation to stop the insanity. Until they change I must side with Israel.
One important actor was forgotten in the "movie trailer". The activists on the ship that attacked the Israeli commandos. If they had not violently resisted, no one would have been hurt. No one was hurt on the other five ships of the flotilla, or on the Rachel Corrie, for that matter. These activists are certainly guilty of overreaction.
I also resent the mention of U.S. aid, insinuating that the U.S. should cut aid to Israel because of the incident.
Sorry, Mark, but I disagree. I think Israel is using the right combination of force and restraint. Its blockade of Gaza might be stricter than it needs to be, but it has to find some way of keeping weapons out of Gaza before they are used against Israeli cities as they were prior to 2009. Those concerned about the suffering of Gazans can work with Israel to deliver humanitarian aid. Those determined to break the blockade are either playing right into the hands of the Hamas terrorists, or they are working with Hamas to achieve its goal of destroying Israel.
IDF's motto has always been to attack now and ask questions later. Just like they did with the USS Liberty back in May 1969. Israel knows it can get away with anything because it knows the US will go hide under the table. How sad.
If this had been American Police conducting say a drug inspection and they were met this way there would be a whole lot more then 10 people dead.
The way they were being beaten, stabbed and even shot it's amazing the self restraint they showed in not just opening up on everyone and killing dozens and dozens!
Come on guys! Stop defending the starved, collectively-punished and the victims. Here are "God's Chosen People" practicing their divine mandate. What part of that you do not understand?
It's the Israeli government, not Jews. Are you responsible for your government's actions?
BTW, which chosen people are you talking about? Christians who think they are the only ones who are going to get into heaven? Muslims who think the same thing?
The floatilla people knew exactly what they were doing and had the malicious intent of trying to make it easier for weapons and rockets to reach Hamas by attempting to end the blockade. They knew fully well that they were welcome to deliver their supplies by going to an Israeli port. In essence, because they are trying to break the blockade they support the rocket attacks.
What people are missing is just how amazingly benevolent the Israelis have been to a group of people that would happily commit genocide against them without even a second thought if the tables were reversed. How do you think the Soviet Union, Iran, or China would have responded to missile attacks against them? How would the United States respond? Instead of exterminating or brutally suppressing the Palestinians like these other nations would, they use kid gloves.
If the situation were reversed you can guarantee that the Muslims would have mercilessly slaughtered the Jews decades ago without even a second thought. I don't understand why people are so eager to defend the world's most backwards and despicable religion--a religion where women do not have freedom and are routinely subjected to genital mutilation, a religion that cannot tolerate free speech and non-believers (see Sudan).
People should also be aware that the other Muslim nations don't care about the Palestinians at all. Israel occupies a tiny amount of desert land. If other nations had wanted to help the Palestinians they could have easily invited them to immigrate decades ago. However, they NEED the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in the same way that the Republicans and Democrats need the issues of abortion and gay marriage--to distract the sheeple from their own internal economic problems. By channeling the Muslim world's sheeple's anger and frustration against Israel and the Jews they won't blame their own nation's leadership for their problems. Instead of uniting against monarchy and despotism, the Muslim sheeple direct their ire against the Jews and Israel. Thus, the world's Muslim leadership desperately needs the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and they would happily fuel it.
Male Circumcision while religious in its origin, has shown to reduce the chances of cancer, increase pleasure during relations, and leaves no scars/long term genital problems.
FEMALE circumcision on the other hand (as referenced above) is the exact opposite. IE it has no health benefits, it removes any/all feeling that a woman gets from relations and leaves horrible scars.
Not exactly something that can be compared. Even in the religious context, male circumcision was meant to "remove the unclean skin which separates the faithful from the unfaithful". Female Circumcision is to make sure "a woman makes a good, faithful wife"...
Other than the word “circumcision” they are nothing alike…
Obviously you are a victim of penis reduction surgery or you wouldn't make the totally nonsensical statement that circumcision will "increase pleasure during relations, and leaves no scars/long term genital problems." Babies die quite regularly from having their penises partially removed. To say that a surgery that removes an average of 67% of the fine sensory tissue in the penis "increase(s) pleasure during relations is just plain wrong and totally illogical. Male circumcision in the USA was introduced to make solo sex less pleasurable in an effort to stop boys from masturbating. If you were the fortunate owner of an intact sex organ, you would know that the band of muscle and nerves at the tip of the foreskin provides a level of pleasure that you very sadly will never comprehend. I can masturbate or be masturbated without having to douse my organ with KY jelly. When I have coitus, my intact foreskin provides a totally natural lubricating effect and I don't have to jackhammer my mate in order to feel pleasure.
"Female circumcision" is not a meaningful phrase. The currently accepted term is "female genital mutilation," which is a much better description of an utterly pointless and horribly cruel practice.
Yeah, yeah, we get it. Israel did a commendable job, because it's Israel did it and Israel always does a commendable job.
If they shoot and kill unarmed civilians on a ferry in international waters, it's the civilians' fault for being in front of the bullets.
If they bomb the sh*t out of Gaza, it's "kid gloves".
If they murder Palestinians by the dozen, it's no big deal as other countries don't like Palestinians either.
And remember, if you don't agree to all this then you're supporting rocket attacks. Which are much worse than artillery strikes and shooting civilians dead because Israel does not use rockets. See para 1 for details.
I often wonder how many Americans would respond if suddenly the southern US started getting daily rocket attacks from Mexico.
I mean the US did steal the land from the Mexicans (Texas) originally and a lot more after the Mexican American war.
I mean its their land originally after all. We took it by force and make the "Mexicans" who live here live under our laws/rules.
There is so much half truths going on regarding Israel and Palestine that it’s obvious the sides are spinning everything like crazy.
Here are a few truths
1. Before Israel existed, Palestine was a British territory where Jews and Muslims lived in relative peace.
2. Israel was formed by the UN after WW II out of British territory (just like several other countries like India formed during that time frame).
3. Almost immediately after Israel was founded, she was attacked by all her neighbors. The "territory" in dispute was territory she won during that conflict (It was not taken from the Palestinians since Israel is Palestine. The only way that argument works is if you claim Israel does not have a right to exist since the country was founded on “stolen” land. Which if that’s the case than no country today has the “right” to exist since they were all founded on land stolen from someone else usually at the point of a gun).
4. Both the West Bank and Gaza (the territory conquered) were set up for those Muslims that did not want to be a part of Israel as part of a peace processes.
5. Those territories were/are not able to support themselves, Palestinians keep attacking Israel and so Israel has maintained jurisdiction both to try and keep the peace and well as to minimize the attacks against them.
6. The biggest issue that keeps a permanent Peace solution are:
a. Hamas wants Israel destroyed and all of their land returned to "Palestine".
b. The more moderate Muslims want all of Jerusalem as their capital (the Israelis refused because they want Jerusalem as their capital as well). The West Bank and Gaza are not an issue. Israel does not want them and is willing to allow those to be left go, in exchange for peace.
So basically you have a group of people that feels slighted to the point of violence. In ages past a war would be fought and one side would be destroyed or beaten to the point that responding for at least a generation would be futile. But today we are "enlightened" and don't allow such "barbaric" tactics which leads us back to the problem. When you have 2 groups that will not agree and at least one side (if not both) wants nothing but death, how do you ever resolve the situation? Israel wants to be left alone. Both sides sees Jerusalem as theirs and neither side is willing to compromise. Now what?
Bad analogy. There was no rape here. The people on the ship were not being threatened by the Israelis and had no legitimate reason to resist. Their attacks on the Israelis were nothing but a criminal assault. It was a shame that they were not prosecuted in Israeli courts.
OK, well imagine it this way. Let's say this was one of OUR Warzones, and this was our Soldiers searching for say insurgent weapons... and the "Peaceful" citizenry attacked them with clubs, knives, even guns, etc
There would be a WHOLE lot more then 10 dead. Hell, we'd probably have called in an airstrike on the entire ship. And you know that's the absolute truth!
Someone should delete all those Israeli propaganda messages. They insult readers' intelligence.
When a well-armed military force raids a civilian ship in international waters and the civilians on board push the soldiers back with sticks that's not exactly a lynch, is it?
Only here in Israel do people buy into this bull@!#$ (because people here are taught from kindergarten that Israeli soldiers are always the good guys, no matter what they do).
The rest of the world just listens to those excuses (and occasional lies as well) in astonishment: "do they really think we're THAT stupid"?
The IDF has murdered unarmed civilians in *international waters*, people who were delivering aid to millions of starving people.. despicable... hopefully something good might come of this, and people will wake up to the fact that Israel is a rogue terrorist state.
Yeah, right... There was no Hamas on board of these ships and most probably no weapons. If there were weapons, don't you think the Israelis would show them to any media outlet on this planet?! And let me ask you this: what would you do if someone forcibly boards your ship in international waters?! Invite them for coffee or kick their asses?!
On these boats were for example members of the German parliament and Swedish author Henning Mankell - not exactly arab terrorists...
British naval and counter-terrorism expert Peter Cook on the #flotilla: Israelis with paintball guns were lynched, take a look and. (Channel 4 - UK): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qG0EfG8mnAo
*
The Turkish boat activists meant violence - watch how they use hoses, stun grenades and metal rods against the Israelis - remember, 5 of the 6 boats docked peacefully - those on the 6th were aggressive: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6sAEYpHF24
Israel transfers about 15,000 tons of supplies and humanitarian aid every week to the people of Gaza.
*
Lawyers representing the family of Gilad Shalit, the kidnapped Israeli soldier held in isolation, had asked the protestors to take aid for him, they refused.
*
Israel offered the ship to dock in Ashdod port and they would transfer the aid to Gaza. This offer was made again and again - they refused.
*
Israel has said that it will deliver any humanitarian aid that was in the boats to Gaza, as it does daily.
*
Israel left Gaza in hopes of peace in 2005 and in return received more than 10,000 rockets and terrorist attacks. Israel has sought peace and compromise with its neighbors for all of its 62 years and it will continue to do so.
*
Israel maintains a maritime blockade to ensure that weapons are not brought in by Hamas to use in attacks against Israel.
*
"We fully intend to go to Gaza regardless of any intimidation or threats of violence against us, they are going to have to forcefully stop us," said one of the flotilla's organizers.
*
In the past, terrorist sympathizers have used aid deliveries to smuggle items like potassium nitrate in sugar sacks and used it to make bombs. Israel cannot afford to let goods get to Hamas unchecked.
*
Five boats were boarded, the protestors complied and they were safely let to shore.
*
One boat - the Mavi Marmara - did not comply. That is the boat where the violence took place.
*
This was meant to provoke - it was funded and organized by a Turkish Islamist organization (IHH) that has links to fundamentalist jihadi groups. The ship was flying under the Turkish flag.
*
Those on board carried out pre-planned violence, armed with knives and metal bars, each soldier being attacked by a mob of a dozen extremists. They threw one soldier off the top deck of the ship.
*
The Israeli government maintains that allowing the illegal flotilla to reach Hamas would have opened a corridor of smuggling of weapons to Gaza and resulting in civilian deaths.
*
Using the Arabic term 'intifada,' Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said "We call on all Arabs and Muslims to rise up in front of Zionist embassies across the whole world.
*
As the flotilla made its way to meet him in Gaza, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said this week: "If the ships reach Gaza it is a victory; if they are intercepted, it will be a victory too".
*
Turkey permitted the Marmara to fly under its flag. Turkey knew that the IHH (Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation) had organized the Flotilla, and supports the genocidal terrorist organization Hamas, several Jihadist organizations in Bosina, Syria, Iraq, Libya, and elsewhere, and has ties with Al Qaeda. But Turkey did not prevent the Flotilla from disembarking and attacking Israel's sovereign right to protect itself from terrorists attempting to enter Gaza. Now Turkey is condemning Israel for the unfortunate casualties, and is leading the charge to condemn Israel at the U.N. It is Turkey that should be condemned by the United Nations for its role in this brutal trap set for Israelis.
*
Hamas is responsible for the suffering of both Palestinians and Israelis. Their racist charter calls for Islamic domination; their stance is unchanged and they repress any Palestinians that try and counter their regime.
*
Any police force in the world would respond to aggression; the provocation is the reason for this regrettable outcome. No country would allow illegal entry of any vessel into their waters without a security check.
There can never be peace with radicalized Islam. It is against what they think god commands them to do.
"When you are stronger than me, I ask you for my freedom because that is according to your principals.
When I am stronger than you, I take away your freedom because that is according to my principals."
This gives me hope that the world is starting to wake up to the fact that Israel is just a counrty, has no right to attack ships in international waters and continue to systematically starve the people of Gaza (half of which are mere children). Great article related to this in the Toronto Star by Thomas Walkom on June 2nd. http://www.thestar.com/opinion/editorialopinion/article/817857
Once again, Israel is the bad guy... do you really think this wasn't an act of provocation by "peaceful" Hamas (which still calls for the destruction of Israel in its charter). The blockade has legal and historical grounds and was intended to keep weapons out of Gaza-necessary to stop ongoing rocket attacks ignored by American media and the UN. Please wake up and tune into reality!
I agree with the comment of anonymous. If they weren't hiding something why the defensive response after all the other ships were allowed to keep going. Try reading the non-biased medias (HonestReporting.com) for the truth of what really happened.

Please cite any evidence that the Israeli government was "trying to prevent" violence, or that killings like this are "exactly what [they're] trying not to do." Because I sure don't see it.
Did you mean to trivialize the murder of unarmed civilians? Why didn't you animate people jumping out of the World Trade Center and falling to their death on 9/11? Because that would have been inappropriate.

Now what?
I don't see any Civilians on
I don't see any Civilians on that boat. The Video shows attackers and terrorists. Not civilians....
There's a very simple reason
There's a very simple reason that you didn't see any civilians on that boat: you're a moron.
And apparently you're as
And apparently you're as blind as you are stupid....
5 Ships were peaceful,
5 Ships were peaceful, nothing happened.
The 6 ship was hostile, and armed. Soldiers were beaten, stabbed, shot. Tough cookies that the Israelis defended themselves.
They could of simply torpedoed them and sunk them. They tried to do it the peaceful way and look where it got them.
I'd like to see this kind of
I'd like to see this kind of defense applied to other situations.
"Your honor, I wouldn't have had to kill her if she hadn't struggled. She should have lied back and enjoyed it like the other five women I raped did."
Bad analogy. There was no
Bad analogy. There was no rape here. The people on the ship were not being threatened by the Israelis and had no legitimate reason to resist. Their attacks on the Israelis were nothing but a criminal assault. It was a shame that they were not prosecuted in Israeli courts.
OK, well imagine it this
OK, well imagine it this way.
Someone should tell our
Someone should tell our 'old' friends from giyus.org that the fight at the homefront is already lost. Apartheid will not prevail.
Someone should delete all
Someone should delete all those Israeli propaganda messages.
S.
Beer-Sheva, Israel.
The IDF has murdered unarmed
The IDF has murdered unarmed civilians in *international waters*, people who were delivering aid to millions of starving people.. despicable... hopefully something good might come of this, and people will wake up to the fact that Israel is a rogue terrorist state.
Yeah, right... There was no
Yeah, right... There was no Hamas on board of these ships and most probably no weapons. If there were weapons, don't you think the Israelis would show them to any media outlet on this planet?! And let me ask you this: what would you do if someone forcibly boards your ship in international waters?! Invite them for coffee or kick their asses?!
On these boats were for example members of the German parliament and Swedish author Henning Mankell - not exactly arab terrorists...
hmm shame you didn't see the
hmm shame you didn't see the "aid" workers trying to lynch the Israelis

The Turkish boat activists meant violence - watch how they use hoses, stun grenades and metal rods against the Israelis - remember, 5 of the 6 boats docked peacefully - those on the 6th were aggressive:

There can never be peace
There can never be peace with radicalized Islam. It is against what they think god commands them to do.

I agree with the comment of
I agree with the comment of anonymous. If they weren't hiding something why the defensive response after all the other ships were allowed to keep going. Try reading the non-biased medias (HonestReporting.com) for the truth of what really happened.
Please cite any evidence
Please cite any evidence that the Israeli government was "trying to prevent" violence, or that killings like this are "exactly what [they're] trying not to do." Because I sure don't see it.
Did you mean to trivialize
Did you mean to trivialize the murder of unarmed civilians? Why didn't you animate people jumping out of the World Trade Center and falling to their death on 9/11? Because that would have been inappropriate.
