U deserve it. All of u. Good commentary that doesn't take sides due to bias. A lot of people were suprised that you criticized Obama after you picked on GWB so much. Good to have a real middle-of the road point of view. Cheers and Congrats.
Congratulations! You earned it!
That anonymous guy is actually partly correct, if they weren't politically aimed I wouldn't look at your work either! What a bonehead :-D
Keep up the good work.
Congratulations on your Pulitzer, Mark! Your work is among the most imaginative among editorial cartoons that I've seen. Looking forward to seeing more good work from you in the future.
Mark, I'd never heard of you until today when I ran across the articles about your problem with Apple. Congratulations on the Pulitzer, although I must say I don't understand the criteria.
I am neither Democrat nor Republican. I'm actually Canadian and my impression of both US parties is that they're hopelessly corrupt and morally bankrupt. I've just watched quite a few of your animations and was disappointed that it's all so blatantly diehard Democrat support material. The US media (mainstream and alternative) has this bizarre notion that choosing a political side is not only not a violation of journalistic principles but actually a good thing. You fit right in to that mold. Your animations are merely cartoon renditions of your side's current rants against the opposition. The fact that you encode them in sarcasm doesn't change this. Mark, sarcasm does not equal satire. I thought the Pulitzer had something to do with journalism, but I'm obviously mistaken. I like the visual styling of your animations, but I can get your kind of "political satire" by reading the adolescent spewing that dominates Reddit and Digg. A good political satirist is worth his weight in gold and I'm disappointed that you're not it. However, in the US you will do well, on one side of the polarized divide that is.

Mr. Fiore, you're now part of a very respectable club. I remember many years ago when my hometown's editorial cartoonist, David Horsey, won the same prize (the first time). This was his response to his readers:
Congradulations! I think I spelled that right. Why don't you do something on what's going on with NASA. It is very appripo, forgive the spelling, to people in Houston or about a 100 square miles around, and Florida.

From a loyal fan (written while listening to your KSRO interview) a big CONGRATULATIONS! You and your work is so deserving of this recognition! Your work always is so spot on and much more often than not evokes a hearty laugh and motivates a response! How cool to see singer Stephanie Riggio credited on your latest cartoon (I send her a hello from Paris)!
I read the whole App Store dilemma and I've got a solution for you: Come to the good side and release your app on Android :) If you want total freedom and not a locked down system, the Android Marketplace will let you publish whatever you want. Just something to think about. I would love to see your app on my Droid.

These days I live in San Jose, so it's once again a local cartoonist who delivers the best.
