I can't believe I lived long
I can't believe I lived long enough to be totally disgusted with my country. As a disabled senior who lives in poverty I have to be subjected to the face of Trump as a real icon in American life - rich - spoiled - arrogant - stupid - loser businessman.
I am glad and relieved that Osama is dead but upset as seing an assination greeted with partying similar to a keg celebration. I have nothing against assanination if the victim is kind of a Hitler or Mussolini and would not cry if Kadafi met his end in such a way, but a death is still a tragedy, more so if the life was also a tragedy.
I am an Obama supporter but felt a little sick when he decided to encourage his rather militaristic new following by putting a new wreath at ground zero. I thought it a bit stupid since it was only days after Kadafi's son and grandson had been killed not to mention the well-deserved Osama departure.
I had to be in the city that day driving in a van along the West Side Highway. Ground Zero was decked out like an elitist lawn party and it seemed totally inapropriate. Where is my country - the country that in the 60's had me believe that my world was becoming smarter, gentler and more socially just?

Donald Trum is only doing this for publicity. Its a stunt. Nothing more. He has never been a republican, never cared about the tea party or about libertarian values. He's simply trying to get in the spot light.
None the less, its dangerous since criticizing the president is considered white supremacist. (Never mind the attacks against Clarence Thomas and Alan keyes by the left.) So He can expect long term consequences.

Personally, I think Trump epitomizes libertarian values ( as in "I've got the money, so you will do what I say, end of discussion"). But whether criticizing the President is white supremacist depends entirely on *how* you criticize the President. If Presidents are expected to continually prove where they were born, what grades they got in school, etc. etc., but none of these standards have ever been applied to any *white* Presidents, then there's just an outside chance that there's a racial double standard involved.

In Trumpy's case, his catchphrase "You're fired!" perfectly sums up wingnut economic policy. You're fired. Congratulations, you now have complete freedom! You can go do what you want! Unless you need food, shelter, health care, or anything else, in which case you'd better hope that some of my fellow aristocrats have a use for you so that you can serve them for whatever pittances they are willing to provide. If not, then you have freedom to die. But you certainly don't have freedom to live, not when your living will cost me money that I'd rather spend on ventures that will bring me even *more* money.
