Obama has failed miserably

Obama has failed miserably to keep his promises and to stand up for America's weakest citizens. Instead he has compromised with the tea party. We cut taxes, we cut food stamps, we cut social security medicare medicaid all while increasing pentagon spending to bomb children in other countries. Obama needs to grow a spine and so od the Democrats.

You forgot to mention he

You forgot to mention he raised pentagon spending while letting the tea party cut services and needs.

Not Ron Paul. He is the

Not Ron Paul. He is the least offensive of the Republican presidential candidates. He wants to close U.S. military bases / prisons overseas and bring U.S. troops home. Too bad the warfare/welfare (neocon/geezer) axis-of-evil segment of the party will never vote for him.

If we define the word

If we define the word "liberal" properly, meaning a defender of negative ("leave me alone") liberty, and not positive ("give me something for nothing") liberty (e.g., food, housing, and healthcare), then there is only one true liberal running for president in 2012 and his name is: Ron Paul.

Every other presidential candidate (Dem or GOP) is a tyrant, it is only a matter of degree.

I love this week's cartoon, by the way. I think it is Mark's best work so far. I'm just waiting for the day when Mark will distinguish between true, free-market capitalism (i.e., voluntary exchanges between two or more consenting adults) vs. crony capitalism. The latter is only possible with an assist from a large, all too powerful government, unconstrained by the original meaning and intent of the Constitution.

If anyone can point to the clause in the Constitution giving Congress the enumerated power to bail-out Wall Street and the UAW (via GM and Chrysler), please let me know where I can find it.

Thanks,

You can find the enumerated

You can find the enumerated power to bail out Wall Street, the UAW, college students, et al right there between the firing pin and the muzzle. It is the source of all the powers Congress has.

Wait, Obama isn't a

Wait, Obama isn't a Republican?

Finally! All of the

Finally! All of the Republican presidential candidates agree on something. Iraq-- to infinity and beyond!
