That's going in the ol' quote book. Who needs Beerplomacy when you've got that kind of tact? And perspicuity?

I'd drink Beerplomacy if it didn't taste like crushed-up Asprin doused in tap water (as does every other beer ever fermented).

Beerplomacy (in particular) strikes me as the kind of drink that people would stand around sipping and talking about in glowing terms, all the while wishing they were drinking a Coke instead.

Nevertheless, the "beer summit" is one of the few things Mr. Obama did in the past week that didn't cost more than a billion dollars, and so we wish him happy bottoms up.
