To be fair, Mr. Obama did seem to think long and hard before sentencing another generation of servicemen to an eternity in Afghanistan.

Even Obama himself was quite surprised at the award. It's unfortunate that something he didn't even expect or ask for has gotten him so much negative press. At least he donated all of the prize money to charity.
