This war was totally wrong.

This war was totally wrong. We should have just bombed the hell out of Saddam and finished him and ended it. Kill their leaders and then hunt down terrorists and their supporters here and abroad.

"We had to kill them in

"We had to kill them in order to save them" I heard this once before in a little country called Viet Nam. We left there too after a whole bunch of people died for nothing. In that war too, we constantly heard ever changing descriptions of our "mission". The parallels are myriad. I guess we never learn.

You know why the USA went

You know why the USA went into Iraq and Afghanistan, right? Revenge for 9/11? No. Weapons of mass destruction? No. Freedom for the Iraqis from the brutal dictator Saddam? No. Freedom for the Afghanis from the brutal Taliban? No. Give up? Okay. It's for oil and gas, dummy. Duh. Come on, like you didn't see that coming. Turns out that a) the USA wants Iraq's oil and b) it wants all that sweet natural gas locked away in central Asian countries Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. Don't believe me. Listen to it yourself from former British ambassador to Uzbekistan Craig Murray who was on the inside and is now tell what he knows and has written a book titled Murder in Samarkand.

This has also been corroborated to be the reason the USA invaded Iraq and Afghanistan by Lawrence Wilkerson. He's a retired United States Army Colonel and former chief of staff to United States Secretary of State Colin Powell.

I love TheRealNews!

Nothing says representative

Nothing says representative government with just powers from a consenting citizenry like martial law and military occupation.
It's barrel of a gun democracy, just like here. Think of it as the door to door marketing of freedom, except the salesman is armed and will not take 'no' for an answer. That's socialism, Dogboy.
