I was under the impression that McCain was opposed to the use of torture.

Here in PA it's starting to look like Ground Zero of the campaign. Ads are starting to hit the air and the yard signs are getting posted, My phone is starting to ring and my mail box is full of crap...ANYWAY, Thought I'd drop in and see if there are any old faces still logging in!

Could it be he's trying to stimulate the economy with defense spending because as an oil man this is all he knows how to do ? Protect the oligarchy at all costs including our Constitutional liberties if this is what it takes to keep the corporate machine going.

Every once in a while, it's good for people to see what they're eating. Also, a large part of the rainforest deforestation (close to 70%, from what I understand) is a result of ranching. I think I read somewhere that close to half of the meat from Brazil ends up in....are you ready for this....American fast food! We don't have any grazing pastures anymore, so we're using another country....like everything else we do.
