In my new Column I discuss how our economy has slowed to a drip and all President Bush has left in his arsenal is optimistic talk about how confident he is things will get better.

Could it be he's trying to stimulate the economy with defense spending because as an oil man this is all he knows how to do ? Protect the oligarchy at all costs including our Constitutional liberties if this is what it takes to keep the corporate machine going.
