As far as the "Marked

As far as the "Marked place" regulating anything besides profits, when we have an actual Free Market system! Human

As a former animation

As a former animation recruiter, I really hope someone is paying you big bucks for your high quality work. Your work is really impressive technically and stylistically.

And, yeh, I also find your comments pretty dead-on commentary considering the news these days.

Best wishes to you.

The guy in the shipping

The guy in the shipping business above just dosnt get it. Nobody wants to put shipping out of business. Nobody wants companys to operate at a loss. Polution free transportation via land, sea, and air are all but a few years away, if only we could get our government and corporations to look at the big picture. We can have the cleanest cheapest energy the laws of the universe will alow, but we must work to attain these things. Instead, we race to make as much profit as we can until we are forced to turn to a better solution.

Is that all we are about is greed? I saw an French Car powered by compressed sir on the internet the other day. So smart and so much sense....Do you think it will ever be seen in the U.S. until the gas runs out? Theres just not enough profit in something that smart.

More of what I think at: http://skijack.stumbleupon.com/

I love your animations. Right on target. Keep up the good work.

i work in the shipping

i work in the shipping (ships) industry...w/ the one comment on particulates coming from ships where or what do you propose as a solution to this problem? w/out shipping, the world's leading form of getting things, your little cartoons would be meaningless as no one could watch them as no one could afford the $60,000 computer that was flown in from india...w/out bulk shipping the prices for manufacturing increase as there is no way for mass/bulk products to reach vast markets ie., china, US, etc. w/out shipping no more wal-mart & reebok tennis shoes & other crap that the american consumer demands will reach the market quickly enough to counter demand driven pricing. so go ahead & drive shipping into the ground w/ unending regulation and watch as now w/ fuel surges the price of everything skyrocket...in essence, think before you speak & rally the mob...

the solution is apple

the solution is apple juice!!! It's yummy and healthy for you.

I trust the UL logo on the

I trust the UL logo on the bottom.

Gee, could that be because UL is NOT PART OF ANY CORPORATION. As far as the "Marked place" regulating anything besides profits, when we have an actual Free Market system, lemme know, wouldja?

I really hope that you do

I really hope that you do something that shows our American Hitler, bush telling the American public how wonderful everything is; (the economy is up, jobless rates are down, and the homeless are no longer homeless, but working at McDonald's......)

That ------- needs to SO be impeached that it makes our heads hurt!!

I can't do anything anywhere

I can't do anything anywhere near as good as that.

Government regulation is

Government regulation is hardly the answer. I wouldn't trust the government to make sure my electrical products are safe, I trust the UL logo on the bottom. This video is misleading, but also proves a point. Anything government gets involved with ends up worse than when you started with. Proper protocol should be for organizations to spend their money on creating and informed well educated public who will buy from company's that meet a certain standard. The marked place will regulate.

Ohhhhh Yeah You seem to be

Ohhhhh Yeah

You seem to be the living embodiment of the corporatised way of life. Which 'marked' place did you have in mind?

I'm thinking you have a point though. Did the government educate you?

By the way, which corporation created you. Enron???

If you can't trust your

If you can't trust your government to regulate things and protect your rights, then you should elect a different government. I get tired of hearing government is no good at anything - why would you put up with governments that are not competent?

Why don't people understand that the role of business is to make money for shareholders - period? Business has no role in protection of the public.

I find it rather humorous

I find it rather humorous that one would put such trusting faith into ANY company producing consumer products, either branded or generic. Your are right:

We should trust discretion to an INFORMED and INTELLIGENT public of people.

But those are key words: INFORMED AND INTELLIGENT. Sir Thomas More's Utopia has never, in the history of man, come to fruition. The majority of the human race has become so burdened by the calamities of everyday life that they haven't time nor energy (no need in even mentioning resources) to become the former OR the latter. The fact that you would trust a faceless trademark over an elected body proves that point.

Furthermore: the majority of these [branded] companies actually end up using the same materials, and often the same production company/factory, as the generic brands at which you so steadily wag your corporate finger. Sometimes the only significant difference is the quality of the law firm hired to cover their ass.

Yabbut.... The U.S.

Yabbut....

The U.S. political system is heavily rigged in favour of the big interests, so where do we cut the Gordian Knot?

I say electoral reform. Until every citizen has an equal effective vote there is no democratic representative government. Without democratic representation, rational politics via the ballot box will remain, like most other hopeful reform ideas, an unattainable chimera.

How can we conjure democratic voting reform from the anti-democratic constitutional straightjacket so deliberately constructed by the founding fathers of the USA?

Not easily, but that's what is needed as a precondition for the lasting betterment of America and the world. Check the Fair Vote website for current efforts.

Government regulation, or

Government regulation, or corporate regulation, those are the only choices.
Either the few, the 1% who own 88% of all shares of stock, control everything, or we, the people, get off our collective a$$es and go for a share of control of the future of our planet.
Government gets involved and you got...Airports, Freeways, Internet, interchangeable Telcos, etc..
The market place gives us great pet rocks, overpriced toys, and slave-wage servants competing with market place slavery in Chinese Prison Labor camps.
No, the market place does NOT regulate, except for regulating for the profit of the investors, who have no stake in our society, our world, or our children's survival.
They are, after all, extraordinary representatives of the Sociopaths of the world.

One of the best lately.
