Well, Rudolph Giuliani just can’t seem to quit. Even though President Trump has been getting impeached for selling out U.S. foreign policy for his own political gain, Rudy is still messing around in Ukraine and being as brash as ever.
The ongoing effort to prove Republican conspiracy theories is continuing apace. Now, besides just right-wing websites, President Trump and Attorney General Barr are hard at work to convince the world that Obama and his sex-crazed FBI agents “spied” on the president in order to undo the 2016 election.
Now that the House of Representatives is zooming towards an impeachment vote, you better retain a bunch of lawyers who have got your back. (You know, if you’re a president who committed high crimes and misdemeanors.) It looks like soon, the Senate will be Trump’s salvation.
Now that Bloomberg has officially entered the race (much to the chagrin of journalists working for him), it’s time to take a closer look at how the Democratic National Committee helps shape the race. With frequent Democratic debates happening amid the bacchanal of Trump corruption, it’s hard for a candidate in a crowded field to stand out.
After the third day of public impeachment hearings, President Trump may want to learn a little more about the process. If he were a sane individual, he’d probably be getting a little nervous right about now. (His notes to himself notwithstanding.)
Now that the official, televised impeachment hearings have started, we get to see the defense strategy. How are Republicans going to defend the indefensible? What clever legal arguments will they use to defend their president?
With Democrats increasing the impeachment pressure, of course President Trump and his supporters would go after a decorated combat veteran who was a refugee. Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman was more concerned with his Commander-in-Chief pressuring another nation to go after a political rival than falling into the required Trumpian lock-step.
So now we know why the Trump administration isn’t too keen on press conferences. Sure, they let President Trump spout off at length any time he wants to, but anyone who faces the press head-on doesn’t do so well. Acting Chief-of-Staff, head of the Office of Management and Budget and fill-in press secretary, Mick Mulvaney, held a disastrous press conference recently.
President Trump’s unprepared, off-the-cuff phone calls are now resulting in war crimes instead of just old fashioned high crimes and misdemeanors. It’s amazing what you can do when you throw your own allies and diplomats under the bus.
Well, even though he’s been impeached, Donald Trump has managed to be victorious against those evil leftists waging a War On Christmas. Thankfully, we can now say “Merry Christmas” again!
